Maurice and Microcosm speak Urdu

Peace Tv dubbing studios are currently quite busy during August 2011 producing the first Urdu version of Farouq Abdul-Aziz' latest documentaries; 'Maurice and the Pharaoh' and 'From Microcosm to Macrocosm' at the Channel's headquarters in Mumbai India. Manara Communications of US, the entity which delivered both films, had come up last March with an international soundtrack version ready to go to open more markets for the documentaries in local languages.

The move has come out as a result of a fruitful meeting held in Kuwait during the works of the Islamic Media conference sponsored by Kuwait's Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs on the 7th of March 2011. The meeting was held between Dr. Zakir Abdul-Kareem Naik President of the Islamic Research Foundation of India – mother entity of Peace Tv – and Writer/Producer/Director Farouq Abdul-Aziz President of the production company Manara. Both parties agreed to initiate a productive relationship in areas of Da'wa and the propagation of Islam. The first step was taken by Manara which produced the international soundtrack and dispatched it to Peace Tv to handle the production of the first Urdu version by June 2011. The Peace Tv outreach has scored high last year with a total viewership number of 100 million viewers worldwide.
